it is a dark, stormy day here in LA. the boys [the little ones + the big one] are a little stir crazy, but I'm having fun dusting and moving things from one room to the other. it's the little things, right? I painted our dining room white last weekend and I love how much brighter it is in there, even on a gloomy day like today. I hope everyone is having a nice, safe weekend! #thetinywhitehouse
to go shopping in Paris? a dream I never knew I had, but I suppose I can check that off the bucket list. my mom, sisters, + I visited a flea market during our time there and it was quite possibly the highlight of the trip for me! can't wait to share my finds + what I plan to do with them! #thetinywhitehouse #thetinywhitehousetakeseurope

three years ago today, the original tiny white house was lost in a flood. it was a really dark time for us. and though it's not one of my fondest memories, sometimes it's important to reflect on those hard seasons in life because that's where you'll see the Lord's faithfulness. if you're in the middle of a fog right now, take some time to remember. He is faithful, even when we are faithless. ——— I shared these three images... the first on one of our darkest days, the second on the night we closed on our current home, and the third, five months after we moved into the home we spent months renovating and just weeks after we welcomed our second boy into the world.
